Opening a Trade Account - Frequently Asked Questions

Joining the trade programme enables Trade clients such as interior designers to purchase artwork at a discounted price. Joining is completely free and there's absolutely no obligation for you to buy.

What percentage off do Trade clients get?

Trade clients get discounts starting at 15% off.

Can Trade discounts be used on artwork which is on sale, artwork commissions, and artwork under make an offer?

No, it is only possible to use the trade discount against artworks which are at full price.

What information do I need to provide?

You will need to provide us with your business registration details, a projection of the approximate amount of artworks you’d be looking to purchase in one year, and the email address you’d like to be registered to the trade account.

Is it possible to get a deeper discount?

Depending on the volume purchased throughout the year, it may be possible for your discount to extended. This is at the discretion of Artfinder.

Can I reserve an artwork while we’re setting up a trade account?

As all artists on our platform are responsible for their own order fulfilment, we encourage you to speak directly with them using our messaging system should you wish to request that artwork be reserved for you. To do so, please go to the product page for one of the artworks you are interested in and click the "Contact artist" button located on the bottom of the artwork listing. We are also able to liaise with the artist on your behalf. Please kindly note that it may not be possible for artists to reserve the artwork for you.
