What is Clearpay?
Buying Artwork on Artfinder with Clearpay
What is Clearpay?
Clearpay is a “buy now, pay later” (BNPL) payment service that allows you to split the cost of your purchase into four equal, interest-free instalments. Payments are typically taken every two weeks.
It is provided by Clearpay and can be used at participating online retailers, including Artfinder.
You can read more about this here.
How does Clearpay work on Artfinder?
When shopping on Artfinder, you can select Clearpay at checkout (if available for your order). The total cost is split into four payments:
- First payment: taken at the time of purchase
- Remaining 3 payments: taken automatically every 2 weeks
- No interest is charged if payments are made on time
Who can use Clearpay on Artfinder?
Unfortunately, we can only currently offer Clearpay in the UK for purchases on Artfinder, which we hope to expand soon!
For the UK, Clearpay is generally available to customers who meet the following conditions:

- Must be a UK resident (Clearpay availability varies by country)
- Must have a valid UK debit or credit card
- Must pass Clearpay’s instant approval check
- Must have a Clearpay account in good standing

- Clearpay will adjust your payment plan or refund instalments already paid (where applicable)
- Any remaining payments will be cancelled once the return is processed
What happens if I miss a Clearpay payment?
