How long does the delivery take?

As an art marketplace, our independent artists are responsible for running their own stores and fulfilling orders. Part of this order fulfilment is dispatching artworks directly to their respective customers.

As a result, delivery times will vary between artists and are dependent on the size, weight and destination of the shipment.

You may view how long it will take for the artist to dispatch your artwork via the artwork listing under the 'Delivery' heading. This will mean the number of days it takes the artist to prepare the artwork for shipping, any relevant shipping documentation, and book a courier from the date when the order is placed. 

If you have any questions regarding how long delivery may take to your particular destination, please do contact the artist before placing the order to clarify arrangements.

To do so, please go to the product page for one of the artworks you are interested in and click the 'Contact me' button located at the bottom of the artwork listing.

Once your artwork has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email that includes the name of the courier used, as well as the estimated delivery date.  You may also view the tracking details via your orders page on your Artfinder account.

Please kindly note that the estimated delivery date is an estimate rather than the scheduled delivery date, and the shipment may arrive before or after this date, depending on the courier's service and customs processing time.

If your order is taking longer than expected to arrive, we find that in most cases, speaking directly with the artist themselves is the best and fastest way to get answers about an artwork's whereabouts.

To do so, please go to Your Orders > Order Details and press the button that says "Contact the artist" (please ensure you are logged into your Artfinder account).

Should you not hear back from the artist within 48 hours, please do get in touch with us at customers@artfinder.com, and we would be happy to offer further assistance.

Please do be assured that artists on Artfinder only receive payment for their sales once you, the customer, have received the artwork and the 14-day returns period has elapsed.
