Artfinder Transactions Security

Looking after the Artfinder community of customers and artists is really important to us, which is why we have put certain security measures in place to ensure the best and the most secure experience for both parties. 

To help prevent fraudulent orders, we use an automated system that checks each order we receive. Our system is programmed to analyse various information about the customer and order to help assist us notice transactions that may require further attention. On occasion, some orders may be flagged for manual review by our finance team. If this is the case, our team may then get in touch with you to request further information before the order is cleared for fulfilment. 

What to expect if my order is under review?

  • We aim to complete any manual reviews within 1-2 business day from the day when the order was placed. However, occasionally it may take a bit longer for orders placed over the weekend so please bear with us.
  • Most of the orders subject to such review are released within 24 hours. When the order is released the artist receives an order confirmation email immediately in order to start preparing the shipment of it in line with the set dispatch time.
  • Occasionally our team will reach out to the customer by email to confirm certain details related to the transaction. Once these have been confirmed, the order will be released and the order confirmation email will follow. 
  • Please note we will never ask you to provide any sensitive information, such as passwords, bank account or credit card details.

Our finance team reserves the right to cancel orders at our discretion, refuse access to the website and terminate accounts. If an order is cancelled, it is fully refunded to the original payment method without any charges to the customer.
